The Mixer

Mixing is an art form, not a science.  The right mix can make a good song great, and a great song a hit.  The wrong mix can suck all of the energy out of a song and make it fall short of its potential.

Steve's approach to mixing is similar to his approach to producing.  He believes that a song means more when the listener can hear the details, and that artists are more successful when you can hear them clearly.

Steve's mixes have been used on advertisements for CBS, Tampax, and more, as well as TV shows like The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Dawson's Creek and America's Next Top Model.  His mixes have also been on national radio and the Billboard Charts.

Here is a short list of some of the unbelievably talented artists and musicians Steve has had the honor of mixing.

John Oates, Jim Brickman, Kenny Rogers, Orla Fallon (Celtic Woman), Jerry Douglas (Union Station), John Popper (Blues Traveler), Bella Fleck, T-Bone Wolk (Hall & Oates, SNL Band), Abe Leboriel Jr. (Paul McCartney Band), JET (Acoustic Promos), Joe Bonamassa, Con Bro Chill, Tyler Bryant
